My New Wacom Bamboo Pen Tablet

I just opened my new Wacom Bamboo Pen Tablet. Below is my first “play time” with it.
With today’s design software and technology, many believe that a designer can get by without ever using a tablet. I wouldn’t disagree. However, for me personally, using a tablet puts the ART back into digital design. While speaking at Altitude Design Summit 2010, Erik Natzke said: “Designers, free-hand sketch every chance you get. Graphic Designers are becoming a dime a dozen and so it is that pure raw artistic talent that will set you apart.”
At my studio I have a 24″ Wacom tablet that I work on, but I wanted a tablet I could take with me on my travels and else where. The Wacom Bamboo Pen Tablet fits in my bag perfectly next to my lap top. Below is my first practice session on the new tablet.
