…I have come across multiple discussion boards where Facebook users are asking for a “dislike” button. It seems the “like” button just isn’t enough.

What if Facebook were to add Yellow Card and Red Card buttons?

…then, rather than simply “disliking” a photo, users could “card” a photo. The level they disapprove or dislike a photo would determine whether they use a YELLOW or RED card.

This idea came about while I was watching the World Cup 2010 Final match. The referee was handing out cards “like it was his job”.

It made me think: “What if everyone could give out yellow/red cards?”

The following is a mock-up of what I imagined:

What would be the result of receiving multiple yellow cards? Facebook suspension? Or would this just lead to more ankle grabbing foul play?

Lastly,
